How To Make Parsley Wine
Homemade Wine Recipe
Ingredients: Parsley Wine Recipe
1 lb / 450 grams parsley
3 lbs / 1,350 grams sugar
Water up to 1 gallon
Method - What to Do
Wash parsley and place in a fermentation bucket. Cover with boiling water and leave for 24 hours. Add sugar, orange and lemon rind (without pith) and stir well until all the sugar has dissolved. Add the yeast and leave to ferment for five days. Strain into a jar and fit an airlock and leave to ferment.
When fermentation has ceased, rack the wine into a clean jar and place in a cooler environment and leave for a further few months. Rack again if necessary and leave until the wine is stable and then bottle.
