How To Make Parsley and Carrot Wine

Winemaking Ingredients: Parsley and Carrot Wine - Wine Making Guides
 1 lb / 450 grams fresh parsley
3 lb / 1,350 grams carrots
2 1/2 lb / 1,100 grams sugar
1/2 pint strong black tea
3 lemons
Water up to 1 gallon
Yeast nutrient
Wine yeast

Clean the carrots and cook until just tender. Put sugar in fermentation bucket and strain carrots over sugar, stirring vigorously to dissolve the sugar. In a separate container boil two pints of water and add the finely chopped parsley. Boil for half a minute and leave for one hour. Strain into the fermentation bucket and cover. When cool add the lemon juice, strong black tea, yeast nutrient and wine yeast. Cover and leave for three days in a warm place, stirring daily. Strain through a fine sieve and put into a demijohn and fit an airlock to seal the jar.
 Store in a warm place and allow the fermentation to work. When fermentation has ceased, rack the wine into a clean jar and place in a cooler environment and leave. When the wine is clear and stable siphon into bottles.
